In regards to recruitment, our Chapter firmly believes in the following principle:
Sigma Chi is an organization of people. Therefore, Sigma Chi as an organization is only as good as the people in it. These two aspects of Sigma Chi- the quality of the organization, and the quality of its members- are not only intimately intertwined, but they feed upon and perpetuate one another. Hence, the better the members, the better Sigma Chi; and the better Sigma Chi, the easier it is to attract good members. The Brothers of the Theta Mu Chapter pride ourselves in being the selective Fraternity on this campus. Consequently, we can confidently say that we only take the best and make them better!
The minimum criteria for young men to receive a bid into our Fraternity can be found in the Jordan Standard.
Our belief in friendship is is stated in The Spirit of Sigma Chi.
