Completed the Joe Langan video, which has been shown publicly twice and will be shown again in the Fall;  will attempt to get it on Alabama Public Television

Continued to videotape and edit the Mass for Shut-Ins, aired every Sunday morning on WJTC Channel 44

Field Production class shot an 8 - 10 minute video promoting the Foley Center (at the request of Kathleen Orange and Ron Ferreri) and worked on another project for the Mobile Police Department

Helped one senior obtain an internship in which she completed a 15-minute video for a group of missionary sisters working in El Salvador

As part of the course requirements for CMM 499 Public Relations Writing and CMM 462 Integrated Communication Case Studies, worked with professionals from the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, the Museum of Mobile, the John Will Scholarship, and the Elevator/Escalator Foundation to develop public relations plans for each organization

Involved in changing Medicaid law:

Made changes in ART 102 Drawing I:  Allowed students to contribute to the design of the course;  posted student drawings done at the beginning and the end of the semester as "pre-tests" and "post-tests"

Revised ART 220 Graphic Design I, ART 320 Graphic Design II, and ART 420 Graphic Design III to eliminate repetitive work and create appropriate levels of distinction between the courses

Graphic design students created logos, designs, and ads for several outside organizations:  Historic Blakeley State Park, Mobile Bay Estuary Program, and Andree's Wine and Cheese

Arranged for students in ART 302 Illustration Techniques to work with the Mobile Botanical Gardens to create azalea illustrations for display in the Gardens' Festival of Flowers booth 

Senior Seminar students created an SHC Graphic Design website

Students designed logos for the SHC Bookstore and collaborated with the SHC Communication/Public Relations Office to design black-and-white ads for SHC
