Finding Items on Reserve:

There are 3 different ways to locate items on reserve--by instructor, by course name, and by course number.

Below is an example of the Reserve Search screen.  The Reserve Search screen is reached by clicking on the "Reserves" button, located at the top and bottom of most catalog screens.  [Label 1]

To search by instructor, enter the instructor's last name in the lookup box.  [Label 2] Then click the "Instructors" button just below.  [Label 3]

Finding Items on Reserve

Having pushed the right buttons in the right order, you should see a list of instructors with materials on reserve.  If you don't see your instructor, then he or she probably has not put materials on reserve.

Clicking on the hyperlink "Hall, Larry D."  brings up a list of materials he has placed on reserve.  (See below)

Finally, you should see a list of items on reserve for Dr. Hall.  Clicking on the hyperlink of the item you wish, brings up its complete record of information.

Reserve Material -- Item Record

While normally all reserve material is placed on reserve for 2 hours, you can interpret the circulation policy "2HR1R1-10" as 2 Hour Reserve, 1 Renewal, $1 fine per hour, up to $10 maximum.  If there are any questions concerning the length of time you may check out a reserve, ask the librarian at the reserve desk.

A similar search may be performed by course number or course name.
