Grading Policy: A minimum of "C" is required in all nursing courses. A student may repeat one nursing course with a "D" once in order to achieve at least a "C" grade. A grade of "F" in a nursing course will result in review by the nursing faculty and will likely result in dismissal from the nursing program, but not necessarily the College.

The first half of the course will be in the classroom followed by required assignments to be completed and submitted while in the practicum experience. A detailed summary of assignments will be conducted prior to the end of classroom attendance.

Attendance Policy: Students are expected to be present for all classes. We have excellent guest speakers and if you miss their presentation, it will be impossible to capture the content. Please refer to the Spring Hill Bulletin of Information for exceptions to this rule. In order to fulfill requirements for the final grade, students must be present and complete all assignments in the class.

Evaluation Means by which final grade is computed:

Assignments: 50%

Resume: 10%
