     Research clearly indicates that searchers who have high-knowledge and familiarity
     with a topic are more likely to employ a high number of search strategies and to
     introduce alternative search terms to enhance their searches.

    Using Dictionaries and encyclopedias to develop greater topic knowledge before
    searching indexes and catalogs has a direct positive correlation to quality of
    information retrieved in subsequent online searches.
